Wahoo Elemnt Bolt + Garmin 935 + /Garmin Connect

Hi,

I am wondering if anyone that actively uses their Garmin Connect account who also has a Garmin 935 has a Wahoo Elemnt Bolt cycling computer. If so, I am wondering if you can help me with these three questions:

1. Do the .FIT or TCX files need to be uploaded manually to Garmin Connect

2. Does the Wahoo Elemnt Bolt integrate well with Garmin Connect?

3. If so, is one able to view weekly ride summaries on the 935 once uploaded to Garmin Connect (i.e on the weekly cycling summary on the homescreen of the watch) .

I love Garmin Connect and my 935 that I already own but I'd like to get the Bolt computer for cycling but I only want to pull the trigger if the Bolt integrates well with Garmin Connect and the 935. Please share any experiences you may have if you have this combo .

Thanks :)

Thanks but I don't want to use my 935 watch for riding .
  • But this is a 935 forum. If you want to find out what this bolt thing is capable of you should look for a bolt type thing forum

Well, the Connect app is meant for Garmin devices. You can't use it to automatically upload a ride from the Bolt. But you can always manually upload to connect.garmin.com using a USB cable. There are other ways, too. Try the SyncMyTracks app. You may find that it meets your needs.
  • 1. You have to upload all your files manually.
    2. NO.
    3. NO.
If you want that elemnt bolt works fine and "integrate well with Garmin Connect" you have to buy an edge 520. But in this case too you can't see the kms in your watch, but only in Garmin Connect.
If you want the weekly summary on your watch you have to record with your watch.
