Strava private live segments wont upload to device

1. Create new segment in strava and set it private.
2. Mark segment as favorite.
3. Segment appears in Garmin Online segments widget.
4. In Garmin Express segment shows in list of items that will be synchronized.

After sync process segment wont load on device nor found in Segments folder. Problem appears on both Forerunner 935 and Edge 520. Is it any way to fix this issue?

Sounds like the same problem like I have with Garmin segments where the leaderboard is not populated. These segments do not sync to the watch. Problem is there since weeks.

I'd guess it's by design, so as not to transfer private segments off Strava.

It does not make much sense protecting the privacy of your own segments by failing silently when syncing.

Sync protocols on GCM show what is going wrong. Hint: 404.

It seems like it is a bug and not a feature. Private segment was shown as "update available" in both Garmin Express and Garmin Connect and after I pressed "Synchronize" button it disappeared as after successful synchronization. There were no errors. Next day the same private segment appears as "update" again. Could someone reproduce the problem and report here?ciq.forums.garmin.com/.../1379107.png
