Does the vibrator of your watch sound like loose?

My watch the vibrator (maybe also by the quickfit band) sound very bad. The last day... I had see one Apple watch and the vibrator was very very soft and efective... the FR935 vibrator is as one diesel engine and the Apple Watch as BMW 6 cylindrer in line... For the price Garmin should mount a vibrator of best quality...

This is normal in all watches or my unit is broken?... I don´t know...

  • Vibration on 935 is different to my 735. Initially I thought it was malfunctioning but in truth I think it is just different and with more usage I think it works better in the pool. Great watch. Just need that elusive perfect watch face.

Thanks for everybody... now I am more calm,,,
  • I got a replacement and this sounds metallic when vibrating (mostly, not permanent). I called Support and got a second replacement. This sounds as my first watch.
  • Mine is also doing this, not sure if it is normal or not.
It does it intermittently though. Sometimes it is silent, other times there is a real loose/metallic sound to it. If I am in a meeting everyone can hear it, which kind of defeats the purpose of it.
Do I need to get a replacement? I certainly would want it to become on 'loose' mode all the time.

I guess rather than 'is your watch loud' the less subjective question would be 'is the loudness of the vibrate consistent, or does it vary' ?
  • I've had almost all watches of the Forerunner serie and I've to say vibrator of the 935 is pretty much the best of all the watches including in the list 220, 225, 230 235 and 735 (this last one was by far the worst! the vibration was so noisy that was almost impossible to use it in a silent place, like in the office for example...I think this was one of the reason for me for changing to 935...). No idea about the AW vibration but I got the point when you say BMW 6 cylinder in line...I think it's just a matter of frequency of the vibration...i'm not sure if the high frequency of the AW is as much effective as the FR935 thou...during running I mean...
