run at least 1 mile, hit stop, then choose 'calibrate and save' rather than just save. Enter in correct distance (if you trust the treadmill) and job done. I had to do this twice and since then it's been very good. Just need to watch how much you swing your arms as it might get carried away and over pace you

Thanks mate! My 935 recently updated to 7.60 but when I stop a run after a mile I don't have a calibrate button. I tried it today. Is this for all models? I'll try again tomorrow.

Make sure you're running a mile according to the watch, not the treadmill display.

Have you considered the Garmin Foot Pod? There is no guarantee that the treadmill you are using is calibrated, so a foot pod may give you a more accurate distance measurement. It will also give you lap splits and will sync properly with Strava (if this is important to you).

Ran 1.3 miles and had the option to calibrate and save. Awesome! Love this watch.
