Slow charging

Hey

Any ideas why charging gets really slow? If not a cable issue, what else could it be?

Dirty or damaged connector?

I tried with 2 different charging cables, charging is still extremely slow. I even put another 735xt of a friend to charge with my cable, it worked fine. I guess the problem is not the cable, it is the four pins in the charging slot of the watch. There is no visible sign of corrosion, I cleaned it anyway but still nothing, battery level rises like.. 1% every 15 mins! Is there a way to get this fixed or do I need to start looking for a new watch?

Try turning the watch off maybe?

Tried everything, it just won’t charge anymore. Apparently it has switched off ever since. If I sent it back to Garmin, I would have to wait for more than 2 months to get a possibly refurbished unit, with a 30 days warranty period only and pay also something like 100 €. It served me good for 2 years and 3 months, time to move forward.
