Weather widget waiting for data

My 735 is paired with my Iphone 6 and all widgets except the weather widget is working correct.
In the Garmin Connect mobile app the weather button is greyed out and impossible to activate.
In the Iphone settings notice center the Iphone weather app isn't present as sms,mail, calender etc.
Any other setting that I have missed?

I have tried to unpair, delete, install the app but with no success.
No answers from Garmin Support.

Any one having a solution?

Using iPhone 5S with latest iOS and latest Garmin Connect app. I don't see a weather button in the GC app. And the weather widget just seems to work.
Had 4.40 before. Now 5.08 beta. Both just wowww.linkedin.com/.../colin-doherty-69191974rk. Which is. It very helpful. Sorry.

[edit:] I found weather under Garmin Devices -> Forerunner 735XT -> Device Settings.
It's greyed out, but enabled. I cannot disable it.

Check that under Garmin Devices -> Forerunner 735XT -> Connect IQ Apps that you have the Garmin weather widget installed.

I also looked to see if GC app has a location services under iOS Settings -> Privacy. Couldn't find it. But it will need your phone's GPS location to get weather.

It's a known issue. Try repairing the watch and phone a couple of times and it should start working again

I've tried repairing and restoring to factory defaults a gazillion of times and pretty much gave up on the Weather Widget. Since it used to work on my 235 I hope Garmin patches things up with the next firmware release.

Lo and behold the Weather Widget works on my 735XT with the latest version of GCM (under iOS 10). let's just hope this isn't just a fluke.

Now, if Garmin fixes the communication with Apple Health, I'd be a happy camper.

Yup, finally works after the new GC Mobile update. It's been a long wait.
