Is it normal that the bluetooth connection to my phone keeps connecting and disconnecting? I have the notification turn on. Not sure if the connection on/off is normal or not. I have 3.2 firmware.

Ok, I just did some testing and looks like the distance to the phone might be a factor. When I'm about 10-20 feet away, the phone connects and disconnects. When fairly close by (less than 5 feet), I'm not having any issues. I assume this is low power BT but perhaps Garmin tweaked it more to save power?

Strike that. It's annoying connecting and disconnecting. is this firmware issue or hardware issue? It's constantly now disconnecting/connecting from the phone.
Can't say am seeing these constant comnects/disconnects with the iOS app and iPhone.
Are you saying it does this with your phone even when next to your 735?
I have Samsung Note 5.
If the phone is in my right pocket and I'm wearing my watch (left wrist), yes, I'm having this issue. If the phone is in line of sight within 5 feet (guessing), no problem.
Bluetooth is a curious thing. I had lots of problems with bluetooth on my F3 - random disconnects, won't reconnect, etc. With the 735 the bluetooth connection is rock solid for me. Still have the same phone...
Ugh ... what was spotty connection between my 735xt and my iphone 6s+ is now completely gone. I tried turning the bluetooth setting on and off on both devices, but they just won't connect at all now. I should note that I also had spotty connection when using a 920xt. Back when I used an Android phone, I seemed to have much better connection with the 920xt.
Since the recent update on my watch, i get this all the time, even when the phone and watch are in the same hand! Is there a cure, never had his before update or on my 920xt.
