Upgrade from FR645M?

FR255 is not discontinued imho.

Unless you need mapping I would suggest the 255 It's a newer device, also has a touchscreen option. 

I went from FR645M to Venu 2 plus 4 weeks ago. Why? I wanted to have a AMOLED, FR265 is too big, screen of FR265s is too small, FR965 is too big and too expensive. With Venu 2 plus and I'm really happy. There are some minor features available like recover time, but to be honest, runners are knowing how much recover time needed.

I'm looking to upgrade. I had a FR645M and loved it. Then got a FR745, it's okay but feels clunky.  I'm hoping there is a Venu 3 soon, and that's probably what I'm going to get.   

The only thing I'd miss is Open Water Swimming.   I do like that in the FR745, and Venus haven't had that so far.

Thanks, was looking at 255, but seemed to be missing some info and data my 645m had.

Received 40% off Fenix 7s so went for that instead. Will push me to go hiking

Just bought Venu 2s for wife and Fenix 7s as received 40% off them. Bargain

So far really happy with Fenix 7s, already walked up Snowdon and got great data back.
