Weekly total on watch face is zero

hi, I have been running this week and recording my activities as runs, but on my watch face the weekly distance remains 0km. Any suggestions?
  • Is it a standard watch face or a Garmin one? If not a Garmin one I would suggest you need to contact the developer who makes the watch face.

    Hi thanks for your reply. The watch face is the generic garmin one which is initially displayed on the watch. I have had it 2 weeks. The first week there was no issues with the distance being displayed. The second week sits at 0km
  • If you have the running widget, what does the weekly total show as?

    If I hold up button > history > totals > running > weekly then it will show my weekly total as 15km, but on the watch face it says 0km
  • How odd, I would try switching the watch face to something else and then switch back and see what happens.

    You could also try to turn it off and on or hold the power button for a few seconds to reset it. I would do this at the end of the day if you are an avid step counter.

    I have the same thing going on. Watch face is generic Garmin and shows 0.0 miles. History has 8.9 over the last 2 runs. GC shows same total. Oddly I came across this with another issue. I use the "last run" widget and it was working fine last week but stopped loading data this week. It simply shows "save an activity to view data". I started a thread about it in troubleshooting but now feedback yet. 3rdly, I noticed I'm not getting summary data after my runs the last few days. Usually you get a cycle of screens showing, recovery time, VO2 changes, summary data etc.. I noticed today when I saved my lunchtime run I seemed to get the blank screen with green triangle that you do when you initially switch on the watch (instead of the summary data)

    I have emailed Garmin about it as I could not connect to their chat. If I get no response tonight I'll ring them tomorrow. I was on to their Customer Support by phone recently and despite a 23 minute wait, the girl was fantastic. I have switched on and off very frequently as I'm having daily Bluetooth sync issues (also frustrating!) haven't tried a soft reboot yet but in fairness I have the watch 2 weeks and it was perfect last week!

    Just off the phone with Garmin (9 minute wait)
    1. Check that software is up to date. Currently on 3.40
    2. Reset back to default settings
    3. Record an activity and see if it shows the right data
    4. If not call back - needs deeper investigation
  • My last run shows on the app but not as the last run on the running widget on the watch and also doesn’t show run on the watch face?
