software version 3.30 feedback

My 645 (non-music) froze on the first run after the update to 3.30. See attached error-log.
I was using the back to starting point function (straight line) while this happened. The watch never froze before,
  • Sleep detection was working flawless in ver 3.1.
    Ver 3.3 tells me i slept for 3½ hours last night. That is very wrong. From 2.45AM it says I didn't sleep at all.


    I'm seeing the same problem. I apparently slept 2 hours and 40 minutes last night when I actually got at least 7... until 3.3, sleep tracking had been working perfectly.

    Are you seeing the incorrect sleep data automatically or does the incorrect information display after attempting to edit the sleep time?

    What happens if you try to edit the the sleep time?

    If i manually expand the time with 2 hours everything is correct !!
    If i expand with 3 hours it shows last hour as awake.
    Seems like the wakeup time is set 2 hours to early.

    larsjensenkbh With your permission we would like to take a closer look at the account data in order investigate this with the device and Garmin Connect teams. If we have your permission to view the account data using our Administrative Tool can you provide the following:

    What should the sleep and wake times be?
    How many hours of sleep displayed in your account prior to your edits?
    How many days of inaccurate sleep are you seeing since the 3.30 update?

    I am having the same trouble but I have a Forerunner 935 update to 9.10. For the past 3 days my sleep pattern has said I am awake from 2am on Garmin Connect. I change the wake time and all my sleep data is there but I have to know when I wake to have accurate information. I used to have 8+ hours sleep showing until this release.

    After the update is over the watch seems out of order, it doesn't work but shows only a blue triangle on a black background. No connection with Garmin Express. I tried to switch it off, after switching it on the same triangle. What's to be done?


    One thing that you can try is to connect the device to a Windows computer and see if it is recognized by the computer as being plugged in. If so you can open the Primary Drive>Garmin Folder>NewFiles and delete any files in that folder.

    If that doesn't work we would need to speak with you directly to investigate this. You can contact our Product Support teams through our chat, email, or phone channels for direct assistance.

    You can look into my account data as you please. Anything I have to do?
    The time for start sleeping is correct the last two days.
    Seems it is exactly two hours missing in the morning. Usely I get up 5.45 AM But sleep stops 3.45
    Seen this last two dates since installing 3.30. The previous month using 3.10 sleep detection was ok and very precise.

    Thanks for the reply. There is nothing that you have to do with regard to us looking at the account data, we just need your permission. I will take a look and get this escalated.

    Ok, note that todays sleep end time is set manually to 5.50. This shows that I woke up 5.45 as expected.
    Only automatically end sleep was set to 3.45.
