HR useless and other problems

Since a few days I have a FR35. I'm not very satisfied. HR is rather useless because the values are too high for a long time. Getting off my clothes causes 147bpm? It stays for several minutes. I have to switch the watch off and on again and it is better for a moment. I don't know if there is a possibility for soft reset. Suddenly I had 45bpm while sitting on my bed. Then 145 again. Most time it is only a bit too high, but it is. Because of these too high values the calories burned are too high, too. Several hundreds, sometimes thousand calories! I even saw that the green lights aren't on all the time. Is that correct?

Next problem: I disabled Move IQ again, but it still works. In the app I find walking, cycling, cross training... Although I went to a stadium! These activities can't be deleted. Really terrible app. And always overwriting the settings on FR. I had to switch vibration on again, change data fields again and so on. Problems with syncing etc. It drains my battery because of several processes running in background. Because of that and the useless HR measuring I will give it back if there won't be a solution soon.
  • Has you seen the recommendations for the optical heartrate in the manual? You need to wear it tight and slightly higher on the wrist, above the wrist bone. Try it a bit tighter and a bit higher and see if that helps

  • Tighter and it is uncomfortable... I already have a mark from the sensor. I wear it tighter than my Fitbit, that didn't show such high values. Although it was more loose, because one hole tighter was too tight. I tried several positions the days before, no effect. At the moment I have 119bpm while sitting at the desk.
  • Sounds like it's tight enough. I'm afraid to say, optical works differently for different people and maybe it just doesn't work too well for you. One thing that might be worth a try is resetting back to factory settings just to check it's not got messed up someway
