How do I select walking profile to the 235?

so it syncs to strava

You can't. The 235 doesn't have one. Maybe you can try searching the app store for a 3rd party app with that capability.

As stated, there is no walking profile on the 235. You can use the “other” activity to record your walk, then amend the title in Garmin Connect. I did a walk today then changed the title. There are some apps you can download if you a dedicated walking app.

The Hike App is great and can be used for walking or hiking. It toggles between the two activities.
