Incorrect Time and Date on my FR235

Hi. Today my FR235 is not showing the correct time and data. It is off with 12hrs and 15min. Under setting my watch is set to update time automatically and I have synchronized with Connect several times but no correct update. Any idea why?
  • Get a new GPS fix and see if that updates it.

    I had this same issue on my FR 235 on Friday, Jan 26. I suddenly found my garmin watch had switched itself off, and when I switched it on back again, the time was 12 hrs 15 minutes off.
    I kept trying to sync the phone with the watch,and it did sync several times but the time did not correct itself. I finally switched off the watch again, waited a few minutes, and switched it on again. Then left it alone for more than 20 minutes. Later on when i check again, the time had corrected itself.
    Have no idea if what did forced the correction or not.

    That has nothing to do with setting the time (and date) on the FR235. Your phone is not trusted as a proxy for an authoritative source of current clock time. The only clock-related value that syncing with the Garmin Connect Mobile could change is the time zone.
