Garmin Forerunner 235 v 7.10 remains stuck in 100% charging

Garmin Forerunner 235 v 7.10 remains stuck in charging to 100% after is removed from the cradle.
The only way to get out of the charging screen is to power off and back on.

Has anybody else seen this ?
  • For maybe a couple of minutes. My FR235 always returns to the watch face (automatically and) eventually, after having the USB charging cable unclipped from it.
  • Yep, happens to me... very annoying.

You normally can tell it's going to get stuck when you plug the watch into your computer and Windows doesn't detect it.

Exactly !!! I can tel if it gets stuck if it's not detected. I think this is a bug. What can we do ?

    My suggestions would be:
    • Report a fault to Garmin Product Support
    • Charge your watch using a USB charger (as opposed to a USB port on your computer) if you plan on leaving it connected until the battery level is 100% (and then some)
  • I have noticed that if I use the USB ports on the back of my case (the ones directly on the motherboard), it seems to work fine, I haven't had the watch freeze once after unplugging it.

The times it has frozen has only happened when I've plugged the watch into the USB ports on the front of my case.
