HR error with low temperature and bluetooth problem

It's 6 months that I use my Forerunner 235 and I thing that it's good product, but have some problems.

Then temperature go down (in winter I run outdoor until 2-4°C...) system for read HD go bad: usually I run after some minutes around 165-175 bpm, but Forerunner have more difficults to go up 140 bpm with more steps up and down false and without sense (my heart don't go down and up for 10 bpm without any sense...). It's not problem about belt large or about bad position, because when there is normal temperatur (more that 8-10°C) in the same condictions it read well and constant (difference around 2-3 bpm that is ok...). For me Garmin must change firmware for more strong light emitter when temperature go down because I'm sure that problem is that there is less blood in the arms then become cool: maybe is possibile do it automatic or put a possibility to choose an option in the configuration of watch. Better less buttery but good bpm than opposite...

Second question about bluetooth: it happend too much time that there is not communications without sense. Is not problem that I have smartwatch too much far from Forerunner or with bluetooth turn off or any over problem: simply Forerunner stop to communicate and I must turn off and on bluetooth on smartwatch and/or more usually on watch. Please solve it finally...

Another question about distance: why I haven't a graph about total distance (not only about activity) in a week or in a month? I must sign distances on an Excel table for have it and I think that it's very idiot.
  • Optical HR does perform poorly in cold weather because it relies on there being plenty of blood being pumped through the capillaries in your skin and when you're even a little cold those capillaries start to constrict making it harder for the sensor to find a pulse. I find that keeping my hands warm is more important than keeping my arms warm.

If you create a Garmin Connect account then your activities will upload to it and you can see all of your distance and time broken down by week, month or year. It's also available in the Connect Mobile app on you phone for the past 7 days, 4 weeks, and 12 months under the activities menu.
  • where?

You can see in the panel of all activities (not only run), where I have total distance, where there is distance only about run in the days where I run in this week.
In health and fitness there isn't a voice like total distance. I can see real total distance only if I see day by day, but not statistic about week, month, etc. If not, please, show me where is it...

There. ‘Riepilogo avanzamento’ = ‘Progress summary’

You can also see the monthly and weekly total distances in the Month view (presented as numeric values) on the Calendar in Garmin Connect online.

Similarly, you can see the weekly and yearly totals in the Week view and Year view respectively.

  • Never noticed summaries on the calendar

Thanks ASmugDill! I had never noticed that there are summaries at the bottom of the calendar views.
