After a bicycle run this morning, wanted to save the exercise. But just a short while after pressing the "save" button or just as I was pressing it, I received an SMS on my mobile which was displayed on the forerunner 235 screen. After closing the notification, the screen of the forerunner 235 continued to display "saving the exercise" forever. Is there a way to stop this ? I guess all will come to an end after the device runs out of battery but that maybe a few days ... the watch though continues to display incoming emails and messages but when I close the notifications, I'm back to the "saving exercice" screen ...
Press and hold power. It should shut down. Then power on. If you are lucky it will boot up with the activity stopped and then you can save it. It's happened to me before and this is what I did, but YMMV
