Garnun edge 800 route display

Have a route loaded on my Garmin Edge 800 that crosses over itself numerous times. It gets confusing when I get to an intersection and it has route tracks going if all four directions. is there a way to only show the route track that you are currently on and suppress the other tracks?

Moved to Edge 820 forum. There is no Edge 800 forum any longer, as this device was released in 2010.

No, there's no way of doing this on any of the devices. (Though, the current devices have arrows on the route line.)

One option is to split the route (into two parts).
