Edge 820 IQ connect app issue

My Edge 820 is linked to my Garmin account.

I can see it online and via Garmin Connect.

I now need to download an app that is only available via the Garmin Connect IQ app but the Edge 820 doesn’t appear as a device.

I can’t see how to add it to the Garmin Connect IQ app?? Surely if  it’s there in Garmin Connect and I’m logged in it should just appear?

Anyone got any ideas how To make it show up?
