I would like to know how to delete the EU Map from my Garmin Edge Explore 820. I have the US Map installed now and no longer want the EU map on the Edge Explore 820. Can someone let me know how to delete the EU map from the device.
Look in the Garmin folder on the device. The 2 maps will be large .img files. Rename one so it ends in something other than .img, eg xyz, then see which map has disappeared. That will tell you which file is which, so you can remove the one you don't want.
I have three versions of a EU map on my device and only one of them is the detailed one I require. How can I delete the two I no longer ant. I recognise this is similar to the question above but I would like to know how to "Look in the Garmin folder on the device" - do I do this on my Mac (if so how/where) or on my device (also how/where) please
