Folks,
I know from the thread https://forums.garmin.com/archive/index.php/t-358822.html that several of you do not like the lack of map prompts when operating in turn-by-turn mode. If you'd like to request that Garmin update this feature to work like it did on the 810, please go to garmin.com/ideas and put in the suggestion.
Here is what I put in:
I'm looking to submit a feature request to change map prompts on this device similar to how it worked on the 810. Notably that when you were on a data field screen that nav would prompt with full map to show upcoming turn. I realize you show turn by turn on the map view, but no athlete is going to ride with the map up all the time -- they are going to have a normal data field screen up. The prompt at the bottom is insufficient and frankly I think it's a safety hazard, as people could take the wrong turn and get injured.
