TSS and IF Incorrectly Calculated from Average Power

I've just noticed that my Edge 820 seems to be calculating TSS and IF from Average Power rather than Normalized Power. I thought my recent TSS and IF scores seemed rather low and on further investigation it appears to be reporting NP correctly during the activity and after the fact on Garmin Connect, but inexplicably using AP to calculate both TSS and IF.

Has anyone else noticed this? Just one more thing to add to the list of bugs...

Good catch. I don't check mine on the watch. I just checked the calculations and you are correct it using average power and not NP. I have submitted a support request to Garmin with this information.

I just checked a few of my rides and they are all correct. There must be something on your device that is different. Can you post the settings.fit file from the Garmin\Settings folder?

In addition to the settings file could post a couple more activity files as well? I would like to see if can find any pattern to what is going on.

What power meter are you using?
