I have, on occasions, had the recovery time graph pop up (and it is show 00:00 recovery time) during a ride the next day.
Is this expected? It seems confusing...
I rode to work this morning in a little over an hour. My 520 told me I'd need 35 hrs to recover. Not sure whether it needs a learning period but I'll turn it off if I can figure out how.
The recover advisor needs to gather data from a few rides before it starts to giving more meaningful values. It learns based on what data it has gathered from you. Once you have done 5 rides or so I think you will see the values being more inline with what you would expect.
Recommended me 72 hours recovery time after attempting a LTHR test the other day. I'm guessing it's important to have HR zones set up reasonably accurately as well; for example I had the default zones set at the time so it thought I'd been riding in zone 5 for a solid 30 minutes!
