Garmin Edge 520 is drawing to much power?

Hi, whilst trying to connect the Garmin Edge 520 to the PC and to sync it with Garmin Express I get the following error message: device is drawing more power than port can supply
Any idea whats wrong and how to fix this? If connected with the Garmin USB cable directly to the Macbook this message will appear. When connecting to the USB Hub, the hub will switch of due to power overload. Currently Im not able to sync or update the Garmin Edge. Suggestion welcome to get this fixed.

I suddenly got an identical error message on my Edge 830. The device won't mount onto my desktop (Mac) and now isn't charging.
