Multiple Courses not showing up

Hello all, first time poster here.

I'm trying to load two courses in .tcx format onto my Edge 520 by copying and dropping them in the NewFiles folder.

However, only one of the two show up under Training>Courses. I'm not sure how to access the second Course.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? Thanks.

No.... But try loading the second one once more alone... Could it be that the 2 courses have the same name when you drop them ?

The first 15 letters of each course name must be unique for the Edge 520 to recognise them individually. I found this out when I tried uploading a number of courses which, although named differently, wouldn't be recognised because the first 15 characters were the same.

I think too that there is a limitation on the number of courses the Edge 520 can hold. It might be 4. I haven't used the course feature a lot.

The 520 can hold a lot more than 4 courses.

Naming is likely to be the OP's issue as others have suggested.

Thanks very much...that was the problem! The courses had the same first 16 letters. I had to go into RideWithGPS.com, change the course names, export them to .TCX and then it worked.
