Edge 1030 - Touchscreen unresponsive !

My Edge 1030 worked fine until last Saturday...

I was able to connect it to my PC to download last ride. At this time Touchscreen worked fine...

But today (I did not do anything with my Edge 1030 since Saturday...), when I started it, the touchscreen is totally inoperative !

I tried to do a "hard reset" but now the situation is worse... I am not even able to use the touchscreen to select "language setting" !

Firmware version is 13.20

Any help would be appreciated...

  • there is a test mode available on your Edge - but if your touchscreen functionality has broken, this would be of no help anyway.

    But, ok, here you go:

    -Turn off your device completely
    -press and keep holding the START button (right bottom)
    -turn on your Edge (keep holding start button)

    A test screen appears.
    Now you have to return by touch the screen left bottom (semicircle arrow)
    If that works, scroll down, there is a touchscreen test available.

    To end the test mode - press and hold ON/OFF button (reboot)
