Emoji's for message display

Hey hi.

I unfortunately observed recently that more and more of my friends just send WhatsApp messages containing mostly emojis.

When those are displayed on my Fenix 6, they render just fine.

On the Edge 1030 however, it seems that the fontset does not have Emojis in it, and all they are all rendered as [?].

Is there a way around this? (a technical way to teach the Edge1030 to also display Emojis in messages; not retraining my friends)

yes, I have the same, maybe ask for feature request at Garmin.

Garmin-Matthew Hi could you please add support for Emojis in incomming text messages as the Fenix and Forerunner have?

keep the UX for these devices on the same level please!

Anything new here? Can't be that complicated to integrate ;)

The Elemnt Bolt supports it, so please do the same @Garmin
