ClimbPro: What does the 'Grad Remain' mean?

I'm trying to figure out what the 'Grade Remain.' signifies hear (yes I know it means 'Grade Remaining' literally) -- what I can't figure out (and this is not covered in the pinned post which points to the PDF explaining ClimbPro) is what this is signifying. I did a ride with 10 climbs yesterday and the 'grade remain' was confusing and not useful and certainly didn't reflect 'grade remaining' when it was showing 4% despite me having 7-8% grades still remaining. It didn't even look correct for the current colored section I might have been on.

I think you must be on an older build. That should read "Average Grade" and is the average remaining until the end of the climb.

Hmm I have the 8.00 firmware. I *was* running the 7.50 beta but have since upgraded to the release firmware. Still shows that.

I have it on my edge with V8.0. It appears on the climbpro screen when you are riding the climb. I took it to mean that it was the average gradient for the remaining distance.

Though I do take it with a pinch of salt as it will quite often say 2% for example but the distance to go might say 1km & the remaining ascent might say to 40m
