My 1030's distance to destination, distance to next, and location at next fields freeze as they are at the beginning of the ride, and the pop-up map turn by turn indicators don't work, even though distance ridden, course point distance, cue sheet, and other data fields work fine. Sometimes it works okay, so I know the settings are correct, but it's random and rare for it to function correctly. I see that someone had a similar problem 9 months ago with firmware version 6.30 but that a firmware update seems to have solved the problem. This is happening now on my 1030 with the latest firmware (7.50) and also happened with the prior firmware version. When I talk to Garmin support, no one seems to have ever heard of this problem, and they sure can't do anything about it. Anyone have a similar problem and a fix?
