Please contact with Garmin support. It should be no issue to change it, but they will send you a refurbished unit.

I have a unit purchased in May, 2018 which hasn't developed the halo, and it has the 85.11.0 TSC version. I don't think this is an indicator of whether your Edge will have a halo.
My 3rd unit is about 6 months old. Just starting to get blue halo. Ugh.
My unit purchased in July 2018 with 85.11.0 has just gone back today for this problem
