Can someone please fix my fit file. Garmin 1030 froze up while saving the ride. I was unable to upload it to Straa or Garmin Connect. This was my 9th ride with the garmin and I am not sure I made a good purchase! Thanks
I have done a ride with my rather new Edge 1030 and upon saving the ride at the end the device crashed. My data was lost, but I able to retrieve the .fit file with a recovery tool from the 1030's deleted files, it was not even in the "Activity Folder". So I tried to upload this retrieved file to garmin.connect but it is corrupted.
Further research has led me to a tool called "Fit File Repair Tool" and it does work, however it only fixes the first half of the ride. I would buy this software but the prices are really sassy.
Now I am requesting help here from someone who does own this piece of software and could fix my file? I would very much appreciate that!!!!
I have a corrupt Fit file that will not upload to GC or Strava. I tried one of the online fixes for corrupt fit files and it will not work either. Can somebody please help me to fix the attached file?
Can anybody please help with this ? I've got 3 .fit files from recent rides that range from 27, 42 and 72 MB, that's right MB not KB.... Anyway somebody can reduce the size in order to be able to upload to Garmin Connect and Strava ? Files also seem too big to be attached in this message. If somebody does have a solution let me know how I can get the files out to you. Thanks !
