Issue with Polar H10

Recently I was updated my Apac edge 1030 to 4.0 version, right after updating,I find out heart rate display froze while I was riding indoor trainer.
It never happened before the update
Anyone know what to do?

    Known issue. Upgrade to 5.00 and your problem

    Firmware version numbers between APAC units and other region specific units (i.e., North America) do not always coincide.

    I'm in the US and still having the issue. the only solution to hard reboot the Edge 1030 then it will see it again correct.

    I am in US and having the issue with Polar 7 and 10. The only solution is to hard reboot the Edge 1030 and then it will correct the issue. with me the issue starts if i stop my ride and start a new one. The Edge will keep going with the last reading and not change.

    read something, Garmin telling they prefer and recommend the use of ANT+ when possible and as last resort Bluetooth

    with the H10 this should be no problem given it also works via ANT+

    How do i tell H10 to connect ANT+? all that i am doing is connecting it via Edge settings. If i disconnect my H10 and go back to the Garmin Edge, it will show that H10 is disconnected. But my biking profile will still displays a Heart Rate that does not live, but instead the last reading before disconnect. The only things that solves it is a hard reboot of the Edge. Then it will display live data.
     
    BTW - this started happening after the last 2 updates.

    How do i tell H10 to connect ANT+?

    you did update the H10 with the latest firmware

    check the H10 in the sensor menu

     when you see a name with mac address then it is bluetooth

    disable the bluetooth paired sensor

    search again for a new hr sensor while wearing the H10

    Happy & safe sporting
