Edit you Garmin Swim Data free online

HI,

I'm a Garmin Swim user and also a programmer. As many of you, I sometime have inaccuracies in my data. For me, it's mostly an extra lap now and then. It usually happens when swimming in a crowded lane, and I have to switch from freestyle to breaststroke to look for an opportunity to pass. As a result, distance, average speed, and maximum speed metrics will be affected. I used to wish I could just merge two lengths within Garmin Connect and get more accurate data. Since GC doesn't provide this feature (yet), I decided to make my own tool. It is working great for me, so I decided to add splitting length, changing stroke style and pool size, and added a web interface to it. It's free as long as hosting cost are reasonable. Feel free to try it and let me know what you think.

Garmin Communicator plugin is required and you'll have to be able to manually upload an activity file to Garmin Connect. I explain how to do it on the web site.

Hi, i used swimming tools to split some laps and change the strokes which was helpful, however towards the end of one of my swims, I was swimming on the 'rest' and resting on the 'swim'. As a result i have the time it took (i lapped it correctly), but it just shows it all as rest.

Does anyone know how i can change a rest into a swim? It won't have average swolf or stroke data, but at least i can see the average pace? I have the Forerunner 935.

I'm using this online tool as well since couple of years but still missing to add distance when you do so drills, missed captured by your watch... or forgeted to click by the user ;)
Is anybody has a solution for adding distance for the same overall time?

Unfortunately not :confused: and my workaround is to not misused my watch and journal function... and swim as clean as possible to make length well counted :o

Hi, first of all thanks for the tool

I manage my track but I've an issue.
The tool show only active tracks and I have also Recovery Interval in my activity. The issue is that I have record an active track into "Recovery Interval" track :(
Is there a way to merge a single recovery interval into active track?

seems that only solution is use fitrepairtool but it is very expansive
the demo version allow to change only half data of file and replace the other half with fake data :(

Very nice work, thank you very much for this.

Is it possible to correct the time of a length, instead of just split and merge? For example, I am sometimes interrupted by slow swimmers or people who decide to cross lanes. I would love to be able to remove those few seconds for when that happens.
