Google maps location history not syncing with / using data from Garmin

Is it possible to share Garmin location data with google maps location history?

Should be something like Strava, but with Google instead.

Since when I have the FR955 I track my activities with the watch forgiving about tracking the activity with the smartphone too.

The result is a Google location history quite bad.

My run training for example are not there on Google Location history at all, because I leave the phone at home and keep only the FR955 at wrist for tracking.

It would be nice if Google Maps location history should get location data from Garmin.

Maybe this is possible already and I don't know?

I looked into that, but location data is not one of the things that Health Sync handles.

It isn't possible at the moment, no. Your watch location data is completely separate from the location data Google collects on your phone.

Strava when used on a phone only helps to contribute to the location history data because it keeps the phone's GPS receiver active, thus providing accurate GPS fixes into the background task which records location history.

Maybe using health sync app to sync with google fit.

If google fit has your activity (walk, run or whatever) in its history, they should be smart enough to sync it with google maps location history.

If it doesn't, maybe it's better to suggest google to implement that.
