Garmin Running power tree areas

Currently i own the original Garmin Enduro. Really happy with it only i have some issues with the Garmin Power ConnectIQ Datafield.

As soon as i run into tree dense forest area my power numbers dropping and it is not reliable anymore.
I already bought the HRM Pro+ due to the footpod functionality. The HRM should take over pace/distance when GPS is bad. But this is not really happening and also not really accurate.

Now i checking if upgrading my watch for example to a 955 will solve the issue. Have someone have experience with the newer generation Garmin watches and Garmin power with bad GPS?
