I get this too, but only if I lose my streak. If I reach my step goal, the watch counts the days correctly.

This bug has been resolved in 12.20 beta.

It's probably miscounting the days due to not applying a timezone offset. 65535 is how "-1" is represented in a 16 bit unsigned integer.

Even though it might be fixed in 12.20 beta, there are enough problems in the beta which are more serious than this one.
