Stryd Power given when new threshold detected

Today I had a new lactic threshold detected on the 955. One thing surprised me, given the fact that only Garmin HRM-Pro and RD-Pod power can be used for native running power. As well as reporting the usual pace and HR data for the threshold, it also gave the power.

Thing is, I use a Stryd. So where is the 955 getting this number from? The Stryd connect IQ data field? Or natively over the ANT+ footpod connection? It it's the latter then it would suggest that decision not to support Stryd as a power source is probably not a technical one.
