Since I got my 955, I cannot edit the percentages of heart rate zones. It allow me to enter a value but never saved.
Same behavior from the watch, and from Garmin Connect mobile.
Anybody else with same behavior ?
Thanks.

All,
We do have some other reports of this and are currently investigating. When we know more, I'll be sure to post updates to this thread.
All,
We believe that we have a fix for this report that will be rolling out with the next software release for this device. While I do not have a timetable for this release, I will be updating this thread…
All,
We are in the process of releasing 12.23 production software. If you experience this battery drain after installing the 12.23 sw update, please start a new thread.
Oh for sure, just confirming it's indeed a bug...
It seems to use the base zones btw, editing those also seems to edit the running ones. So that might be a workaround (maybe need to remove the running…
Hi Kevin. After runs I sometimes get a message that my LTHR has been updated and whether I want to accept the new value for the LTHR. Today I got a new one, 174 and I am very sure I selected accept. But both on the watch and on Garmin Connect the value for LTHR shows as 171 when I go to HR Zone settings. Also, my resting heart rate seems to be stuck on 55 in the zone settings even though the value the watch shows in the HR on Garmin Connect (from the continuously recorded HR by the watch) is different. Is this bug related to this one or should I make a new post for it? Thanks.
Watch is FR 955 Solar FW 11.12 btw.
Garmin-Kevin Thanks very much for the response here and in other threads. Really nice to see we’re being listened to. Hopefully these problems can be sorted out. I, for one, love the 955.
Yes, now it at least feels like Garmin cares and likes to fix these bugs :)
The new GPS chipset is marvelous in runs. Went to run yesterday, the course drawn was 21,1k, Distance after it it was 21,14k, this is really spot on and then the difference can't even pinpointed to the GPS, it might also be the Course, or what I really run. (Unfortunately the OW with Swimrun isn't so nice and those are missing about half the distance, but it was bad with 945 also in the release, so hopefully we get there also with 955:).
I have this same issue as well. I go into the watch, change the HR zone, press the check and then it doesn't do anything when I review the zone. Same thing on Garmin Connect app, I go in, change the zone, press the check and the zone doesn't change. Keep us updated!
Garmin-KevinUPDATE: I find myself able to change the general HR zone on my watch, but unable to change the sport HR zone. When I change the general HR zone, that also changes the sport HR zone, it seems that the general HR zone overwrites the sport HR zone. This is only in my case, not sure if others has this same case.
Hello 8145090! I think we should be treating these as 3 separate reports.
4 issues: If you try to change the HR Zones based on bpm, the selectable options are actually %
Direct from Garmin on my open case about this -
“Thank you for your patience.
There is a pending implementation status on this case, which means that our engineers have come up with a resolution.
One of our members will be in contact with you shortly.”
I definitely have an issue with my HR zones on my FR255 (SW 11.12), but I'm not sure if it's the exact same problem. I can change my HR zone percentages and they stick. The issue I have is if I select %HRR, it actually applies the percentages per the Max HR and not the selected %HRR method, relegating selecting %HRR to be pointless and misleading.
