FORERUNNER 935 GPS PROBLEM

I have problem in my forerunner 935 about gps .. it doesn't acquire at all .. even i have restore to default then wait for 20mins to acquire gps. my forerunner 935 version 12.50 APAC

    try again...

    Hard reset - press and hold top left until is shuts down. Then restart.

    Check you have a current EPO file - maybe even delete the one that is there. Connect to GE and synch. Check status of EPO file.

    Try again to get a GPS signal - outside with a clear view of the sky perhaps actually start a a GPS activity.

    Hello Chackoy, I have the same problem. Garmin 935 version  21.0.0.0. When I recharged the battery, GPS stopped worked even if I stay more than 15 min outside with clear sky. How did you fix this? Thank you.

    I have the same problem with my forunner 935. It has very poor GPS signal

    I have the same problem with my forunner 935, the default to begin when a used in the sea. Someone know the solution?

    1. I have exactly the same problem. Reset 935 and still no GPS signal. Any help greatly received.

    Hello. If you have a forerunner 935 you will know that version 21.00 will kill your battery life and routes and courses won't work reliably. To solve this I created a firmware file with version 13.30 which was the last reliable 935 firmware.

    Warning: you might lose your existing run data and metrics, but you will get double the standby and using GPS battery life, so it is worth it in the long run.

    Instructions: -Connect your garmin watch to your computer using the cable -Navigate to the 'GARMIN' folder -Inside this folder copy this GUPDATE.GCD file -Safely remove your 935 from the cable -A prompt will ask you if you want to install version 24.00 now or later tonight, don't worry, there is no such version. I guarantee it is version 13.30 -Choose 'Install Now' -935 watch will upgrade and reboot

    To confirm: go to Settings -- System -- About and ensure this now says version 13.30

    I have tried on 3 Garmin 935 watches and it worked on every one with no bugs.

    Hello, it doesn't work on my garmin 935. GPS not found.System is well on 13.3 but ?

    Did your GPS work before?

    Go to settings, system, about. What do the screens show? Post pictures here if possible. If you have swam with your watch or used it in the wet weather a lot then what can happen is that the internal GPS antenna can corrode. The watch isn't waterproof to 50metres depth but is swim proof. After some years the waterproof gasket fails and the GPS antenna can rust. Please post more information.
