Since the update to 7.60 I constantly get 'Waiting for Data' when I try to look at the detail on the weather widget. Also, the data that it does have is several days old. I've tried this when connected to both Android and iOS devices. Is this a GCM problem or a firmware issue? Is there a fix?
We are aware of an issue where Garmin Connect Mobile is not send weather data to devices. We ware actively working on this issue and we will update this thread when more information is available.
I did a "set time with GPS" and my weather widget started working again. Try it. I read a comment on another post that said to do this for the weather widget problem.
Just put the device outside and let it get a GPS fix. I think there's a setting buried in the menus somewhere Settings - System - Time. P25 of the user manual for full details.
