Help Recovering Invalid Activity

Hi,

After a tough run, I stopped my activity and attempted to save it. After a few moments it looked as if all my step data and health data was lost for the past few hours and my activity had been deleted.

When I got home I noticed that I had an invalid activity in the history that had 0 miles. I plugged my Garmin 735xt into the computer and found the file from today.

Any chance that this file can be recovered still, so I can review the activity? I'm not sure how to best attach a file or send it through this forum.

    Please post a screenshot of what you're seeing. I don't think we're on the same page.

    Not sure which file you're trying to import but if you got it from FIT File Tools, then download it, you'll get a file called fitfiletools.zip. You will need to first unzip the file to get the fit file within so you can import it.

    Thank you - that worked. I used the FIT File Tools (section remover) and it did not give me a zip file; it gave me a .fit file immediately when I clicked download. The file was fine to upload to garmin connect except for the activity type which I was unable to set to running (it was not in the list like you had it in your screenshot).

    In any case - thank you for taking the time to fix my file. This is much appreciated!
