My Forerunner 735XT has stopped working

My 700$CAD watch is now a paperweight. There was an update request which I asked to remind me later as I was in the middle of a workout. I save my workout and then my watch stopped working. Plugged it in and showed 100% but just buzzed then stopped and now it just shows Garmin and then shuts off.

Such an expensive paperweight now? Anyone help??

I have had my watch now about 5yrs with zero problems. Only now it seems to turn on off itself and cycle through screens while buzzing and then turns off and doesn't work at all... grrr!!

It is now a paperweight 700$CAD paperweight.

Is there any recovery from this or is it well dead?

I processed the update yesterday on my 735XT and since then the screen is...glitchy. Apps are all still there, but the screen seems to "shake". Need to figure out how to roll the update back.
