Sudden Battery Deterioration

Hello

Garmin 735xt has been working fine for a number of years. Battery life between on average 10-12 days. The device ran out of battery last week and when rebooted the battery life is now 48 hours max! Not sure if it upgraded the software when it rebooted but I can literally watch the battery gauge drain in front of my eyes...surely this can't be right?

Any ideas

Sadly "a number of years" is its life, and it goes quickly in the end. Contact Garmin. You will be offered a refurbished unit at a steep discount or possible a small discount on other new models.

What would be the 'number of years'? Three, four?

Mine was ~3yrs. It may depend how long the battery was sitting in the watch before purchase and how you use it. I took the discounted refurb and feel like I have a new watch again.
