Not Pairing

Myself and another user have identical forerunner 735XT operating on the same versions of watch software but different phones (Android 6.0 and iOS 10.3.3. Forerunner versions 8.30). We both updated our watches to the current version. Before we updated we had good connectivity with our phones. We were able to send data and receive data with our phones and watches. Now after the update it will not connect. I?ve tried removing the watches from the app and attempted to repair via Bluetooth but it won?t connect. I?ve also tried to delete the app from the phone and reinstall it. That failed to work too. Is anyone having this issue?
