Can Forerunner 645 display Unicode characters?

There is currently no support for Chinese characters on the Forerunner 645, so notifications from the phone that include messages in Chinese show up as question mark boxes. Please can the watch receive Chinese or full Unicode support?

I'll add that this is also very relevant for emoji used in messages and notifications as is very common, even in English messaging.
