Different (and annoying) issues with Garmin Forerunner 645 music: turning on by itself, disconnecting from headphones and wrong pace and distance

Hi,

I have had different models of Garmin and used to be a brand fan. Not anymore. Garmin Forerunner 645 Music has been a pain.

Besides tracking incorrectly my races (my last marathon had 1km splits of 0.5 km; total marathon distance of 44.2km) and paces, it now keeps turning on by itself, even when stored, and disconnecting from headphones. I did a hard reset, but nothing seems to work.

Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I have the same issue of the watch turning on by itself, after I’m sure i turned it off and placed it in a drawer. Does anyone have suggestions?

Given a multitude of problems, I would exchange it for another if you have the option, or chat with Garmin Support if you don't. There's a lot to unpack with the issues you list, e.g., GPS reception (buildings, trees), model of headphones, firmware, etc.
