HRM accuracy

I wanted to share a screenshot of my heart rate readings on a short recovery run that I did this morning. Being my first experience with wrist-based HRM since the Vivoactive HR, I had hoped that this technology had improved. I understand the inherent disadvantage of not using a chest strap. A slight discrepancy is forgivable. This, however, is very disappointing. You can see the point in my run where I turned the watch upside down, facing the sensor toward the inside of my wrist - aside from this, are there any other suggestions?
