Recover app and watch timing mismatch

Ran my first garmin coach greg stride repeat session on my new F45 watch today. Watch only gave me 10 seconds for each recover even though app announced 45 in my earbuds. Any idea what is wrong? Have I missed a setting? I assumed the app would provide the workout in full to the watch. Had my phone with me.

Any advice welcomed

Try using the ''send to device'' for those types of activities and sync your device twice to make sure its alright. Also before each workout you can select view on the device to make sure it matches what you saw on garmin coach
