Forerunner 35 FIT file issue

Hi all, I've got a corrupted FIT file issue from a recent run. I've attempting using fixes from similar queries on this forum, but sadly no luck! Would anyone be able help? Is there something I can do to prevent this happening again in the future? I did do a lot of stop/starting!

One fix I've tried shows half of the route (in the UK) correctly, then plots the remainer as being somewhere near the Falkland Islands...

Some suggestions to help minimize the occurrence of corrupt fit files:

After verifying that everything has synced, backup then remove the files in the \GARMIN\ACTIVITY folder on the device’s file system using these directions: Removing Recorded Activities on a Garmin Fitness Device
Avoid excessive button presses such as pausing during your activity. If you need to pause frequently during your run, consider turning on auto pause
Regularly check for firmware updates using Garmin Express
If issues with corrupt files persist, contact Garmin Support
