Forerunner 35 GPS not working

After recent Software update, v3.5 , my Forerunner 35 watch is unable to connect to GPS.

I could see GPS version as 0.00 while HeartRate and Bluetooth have valid software versions.

Many forums have suggested to soft, hard, factory reset. I have tried all that over Garmin Express software as well as Connect app.

The Watch works fine including heartrate, but GPS is not getting locked on at all. I have waited for more than 20 mins in open Sky, still no luck.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I too have a Forerunner 35, but luckily do not have that problem. If I was in your position, I would follow the instructions in the link I will provide below, which is to manually update the software in your device, which may just help in sorting this out.

Had something similar with my 30 today. Day and date were right when I put it on, but time was wrong. Went out for about 30 min, but time didn’t change. Rolled back sleeve and time changed, but the Move bar was stuck on maximum (though I’d been walking for about 15 min) and steps were stuck on 1722. Did default reset and both GPS-related items went back to working normally

Can you tell me please how do you see that gps is not connecting

It doesn't know you've moved and it doesn't count steps
