Auto lap and the mile record i got on the same run dont match up.

I just got a new mile record, and i have auto lap on. On the run i got my record on, i looked at auto lap and none of the auto lap 1 mile is the same as my record mile. Why is is doing this, or how do i fix this?

It's because the fastest mile detected by the watch does not necessarily have to match exactly your lap miles. The fastest mile can have a beggining at the end of one lap, and an end at the beggining of the next lap.
